“I love the season of wearing easy, light dresses—when you can toss on a single piece of clothing and be done,” says Erin Allweiss, co-founder of the New York City-based public relations firm No. 29 Communications. She encourages investing in a sophisticated summer dress with professional touches—a pointed collar, button front, etc.—that you can slip into early in the morning without a second thought.
