How To Win Style Challenges (Guide & Tips)
As the fifth entry in PaperGames’ Nikki series, Infinity Nikki is packed with various challenges in its campaign and many activities in the open world, including Style Challenges and the conditions you need to meet to beat them. Since it’s a dress-up game with RPG gacha elements mixed in, having a dedicated mechanic to look the most stylish and get rewarded fits right in. There are plenty of battles where characters clash swords, but now you can brawl to see who looks the most fabulous and on-theme instead.
You likely will not find the key ingredients you need to come on top of each Style Challenge by using the latest Infinity Nikki codes. Instead, you will need to utilize hidden stats among your various clothing items and the multiple means the game provides to get more. The grind to defeat more powerful foes becomes worth it, however, since you will be able to unlock extra helpful rewards and even some additional clothing item sketches to help you, your Nikki build, and partner cat Momo on your journey through the magical world of Miraland.
How Style Challenges Work
A Battle Of The Themes
Style Challenges are unlockable battles you will find in Infinity Nikki, which pit you against members of multiple factions, tasking you with putting together an outfit that better matches a certain theme and getting scores depending on how well you do. In the first Style Challenge you unlock, for example, during the “Unexplained Coma Incidents” campaign mission, when finding Sali and Farini, you’ll go up against a member of the Ebony Scissors faction where you need to put together the best outfit fitting the Cool theme. To start, there are five core types of themes:
- Elegant
- Fresh
- Sweet
- Sexy
- Cool
There are also sub-themes for Formal, Home, Simple, Summer, and Warm to consider, but not every Style Challenge will involve these, so you do not need to worry about them immediately. After you put together your whole outfit and confirm your selection in the wardrobe, you’ll be given scores for each category clothing item based on their rating for the Style Challenge’s theme. If high enough, you’ll win.
How To Win Style Challenges
Match Each Item To The Theme
To have the best chance of winning Style Challenges in Infinity Nikki, you need to select clothing items that have high stats fitting the theme of each battle. For instance, the Rippling Waves hairstyle has a D-rank in Elegant, D in Fresh, C in Sweet, and D in Sexy, but A in Cool, making it a decent fit for Cool-themed Style Challenges. The ranking system goes from D to S, so the closer each of your items ranks closest to S in line for every theme, the better.
Style Challenges also have accessory limits. Be sure to broaden your selection of themed items in all categories so you won’t have to rely on accessories.
This also means that to make sure you are ready for any manner of Style Challenges, you will need to expand your wardrobe by acquiring clothing items through means like unlocking outfits in the Heart of Infinity, or spending Resonite Crystals or Diamonds on banners on the Resonance menu. Conducting multiple gacha pulls is a speedy and effective way to broaden your selection of themed items for Style Challenges. While Infinity Nikki is free to play, you might need to invest in microtransactions if you want to craft and use all the five-star outfits.
Rewards For Winning Style Challenges
Sketches, Diamonds & More
Rewards for winning Style Challenges in Infinity Nikki vary depending on the faction whose member you defeat and their role, but can include bonuses like extra sketches for more fashion items, Shiny Bubbles to make your clothes sparkle, and Diamonds to spend on more gacha pulls when you run out of Resonite. To take on more Style Challenges, your tutorial battle with the Ebony Scissors will unlock the Factions menu within Nikki’s Pear-Pal.
