I think it’s fair to say that Martha Stewart is an icon in every sense of the word. Sure, she’s mostly known for her abilities to make magic out of even the most basic ingredients, but even a 20-something-year-old like this writer knows her for being so much more. That is why when I found out that we both have the same Merit Beauty products, I knew I had to try and recreate her five-minute makeup routine stat!

The Great Skin Duo

Although Ms. Stewart doesn’t show us prepping her skin before applying the Perfecting Complexion Stick in her Instagram reel, we can confirm that she used The Great Skin Priming Moisturizer and the Instant Glow Serum. I use both of these products almost every day. They work as a wonderful prep before starting on your base, but they work well without makeup, too. Together, they offer a natural glow for those days when I don’t feel like wearing makeup, which is like every day.

The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick

Martha opens the video using The Minimalist stick. It’s the best and easiest complexion product you can use. I use it to quickly cover my under-eye circles and dark spots and then buff it out using the brand’s blending brush(Martha also uses it!).

Bronze Balm Sheer Bronzer

I don’t know about you, but bronzer can be one of those tricky complexion products that can really make or break your makeup. I like to use Merit’s Bronze Balm because although it’s very pigmented, it’s pretty sheer, so you can build it up as much as you need or just use a couple of dabs to add a little warmth to your face.
