Queenz Eye Redefines K-Pop Fashion with “Neo-Classic Rebels” Shoot
As September approaches and the weather starts cooling down, hints of the approaching autumnal season fill the streets: crisp air and chilly nights, thick scarves and leather gloves, fringed edges of maxi coats sweeping the pavement. From Paris to Seoul, the world’s most fashionable cities are ready to layer up with select pieces from their fall 2025 wardrobes.
At the turn of the season, rookie K-pop girl group Queenz Eye is rising fast, setting a new mood to the K-pop landscape like the first chill of fall rolling in over summer’s heat. In early July, the group reemerged as “Season 2,” introducing a new era with two seasoned original members, Won Chae and Ah Yoon, joined by four fresh faces: Kiirii, Seo Vin, Jin Yul and Seo Ha.
With their first mini album, [Prism EP.01], released in the peak of summer, Queenz Eye joins the ranks of rookie groups debuting in 2025 with passion and determination. The group is prepared to shake things up in the music scene with their striking visuals, undeniable vocal talent and youthful energy.
Weeks into their comeback, Queenz Eye is channeling that energy into fashion. Their latest photoshoot brings the aesthetic of this season’s runways to life, through the concept of “Neo-Classic Rebels”: six carefree spirits combining classic tailoring with streetwear edge. In the photos, the members move effortlessly between casual denim-and-black pairings and refined runway looks from Korean designer brand Phenomenon Seeper’s fall 2025 Seoul Fashion Week collection. Balancing both looks with ease, Queenz Eye captures the rebellious yet refined essence of the fall 2025 season.

The “Neo-Classic Rebels” photoshoot brought feelings of anticipation and jitters to Queenz Eye members who were not used to such fashion shoots. Founding member and rapper Ah Yoon described her initial feelings going into the shoot as filled with self-doubt.
“I was really nervous and all tensed up. I’m a big fan of fashion magazine editorials and I kept wondering if I could do well in that kind of shoot.” To Ah Yoon’s relief, her anxiety soon dissipated once the camera started clicking. “The photographer and staff helped us relax and we looked amazing in the photos,” she remembered. “Then I had the realization, ‘Oh, I’m having so much fun right now.’ We all had a great time laughing with each other throughout the session.”
New member Kiirii also admits to frayed nerves while mentally preparing for the shoot. “I felt really anxious and I kept going over how to look good in the photos in my head.” But once the session began, she found herself enjoying the process of posing in front of the camera.
“Even during the shoot I was thinking of different pose ideas and I started to have fun.” Now, Kiirii is already looking forward to the next opportunity to pose like a supermodel. “[The photoshoot] turned out to be a fun experience and I can’t wait for our next one,” she said.

The first outfits — denim and black pairings with a streetwear twist — had the members excited to step into something new. New member Seo Vin’s first impression of the looks for the shoot was that “they felt really unique and striking.”
She was thrilled at the thought of taking on styles that the group hadn’t explored yet. Jin Yul, also a new addition to the group, was surprised by how much she enjoyed the bold and powerful styling, unlike anything she’d tried before. “When I got the pieces for my first look, I couldn’t imagine what it would look like. But once I put it on, the outfit looked so cute and I fell in love,” she said.
Seeing the team assembled in coordinated styling was a breakthrough moment for the members. “After finishing up the fitting and we stood together fully dressed up, I could really see the individual charms of each member. Although everyone was wearing styles that were completely new to us, each member pulled it off perfectly in her own way and brought their personality and charms into the final look,” said Seo Vin.

For the highlight of the shoot, the group donned runway pieces taken straight from Phenomenon Seeper’s fall 2025 Seoul Fashion Week collection. For Seo Vin, who watches every single show from Seoul Fashion Week online, embodying a runway model was a daunting challenge. “When I watch models walking on the runway, I’m always impressed by how they always make their outfits shine and own every look. And I wondered if I could do the same, so I was a bit worried.”
Her concerns were put to rest when the members emerged from the dressing room in their outfits. “Everyone looked so great in their looks that it felt like I was watching a real runway show. Each member has a really different and distinct image and I think our charms matched well with Phenomenon Seeper’s distinctive prints and graphics. I felt really proud of ourselves.”

Meanwhile, Queenz Eye leader Won Chae has been an invested follower of Phenomenon Seeper for a while; she paid close attention to every new collection that the brand released and is familiar with the fact that the brand’s signature intricate prints and graphic designs were actually based on original photographs. “I always thought that detail made Phenomenon Seeper pieces feel particularly special and beautiful,” she said.
Naturally, Won Chae was overjoyed to hear that they would be wearing the brand’s pieces in this shoot and felt great about the way the members looked in the outfits. “I think all of us have really diverse facial features and styles and we can show every side from sweet to strong! I think the Phenomenon Seeper outfits helped bring out our young and chic vibes and everyone’s gazes and poses in the photos came out looking confident and self-assured like models on a runway. I couldn’t wait to show off the photos to everyone!”
Accessories from SYLK added the perfect finishing touch. Won Chae’s second look, featuring a tailored skirt styled as a top and paired with a wing-shaped ear cuff, instantly became one of her favorite looks of all time. She loved how the combination was “surprising yet different” and the ear cuff in particular “brought out a new side” of herself. “I think fans will really like seeing this look too!” she said.
Jin Yul also had a strong impression from the pairing of a sparkly statement earring on one ear with her printed hoodie jacket. “The intricate patterns of the jacket and the unique accessory reminded me of the galaxy,” she said.
Queenz Eye’s fresh eagerness to take on bold runway looks with a sense of joy and curiosity hints at a vibrant potential to make existing trends their own and eventually spark new ones.

Behind the camera, the members’ chemistry was just as strong as their styling. The set buzzed with a lively mix of chaos and camaraderie. New member and youngest of the group, Seo Ha, has fond memories of some of the more frantic moments behind the scenes: “The shoot went on for so long, we were all starving. We would wait for short breaks in between takes and then go ‘Now or never!’ and scramble to grab a bite of food. That situation was so ironically funny, it’s the most memorable thing from the shoot for me.”
At one point during the shoot, Kiirii experienced pain in one eye and the staff rushed over to extract what turned out to be “a strand of hair as long as a finger,” according to Seo Vin. “I couldn’t believe that such a long piece of hair could even fit into someone’s eye. Since Kiirii has really big eyes, I guess that’s how that long hair managed to get in there at all.” Reflecting on the moment, Seo Vin can’t hide her admiration for Kiirii: “The moment the hair was out of her eye, she went back and finished her shoot like a pro. She was so cool and everyone was in awe.”
Long shoots can be exhausting, even with snack breaks and the occasional mishap. Whenever fatigue threatens to set in, the members depend on each other to stay motivated and upbeat — proving just how much they thrive as a team.
According to Jin Yul, Won Chae is a great source of energy and laughter for the whole group: “Won Chae will say ‘queenz’ and we’ll answer with ‘party!’” That chant helps us recharge.” Seo Ha also credits the support from her fellow members as the reason she can plow through long shoots without losing momentum.
“My trusted members are right there with me, cheering me on by shouting ‘Looking good!’ or ‘Wow, you’re doing so well!’ Those words of support give me confidence and keep me going.” She added, “And each of us has strong personal goals, things we want to show or do no matter what. I think that sense of ambition also helps us keep going and maintain confidence.”

The “Neo-Classic Rebels” shoot demanded a tricky balance of rebellion and refinement, but Queenz Eye’s strong sense of self and their ease as a team tied it all together. “We’re not afraid of trying new things and every member has their own defined personalities, which went well with the concept,” Seo Vin said. This willingness to experiment suggests that Queenz Eye may soon find themselves not only wearing the trends but inspiring new ones.
Ah Yoon sums up Queenz Eye’s fashion identity with three words: diverse, vibrant and lovable. “Each member has her own unique charms and when we come together as a team, those different charms create synergy. At the same time, everyone has a lovable and vibrant energy and I think those qualities show through our fashion as well!”
Just as Queenz Eye’s fashion choices embrace contrast and individuality, their music radiates the same spirit of boldness and diversity. With their first mini album [PRISM EP.01], Queenz Eye introduced a strong new beginning for the group, channeling both their passionate and playful sides.
With three songs on the tracklist — including the title track “Feel the Vibe” that brims with the group’s determination, the refreshing summer anthem “ACHA!” and the easy-listening R&B number “Trippin’.” [PRISM EP.01] showcases the wide range of moods and musical styles that Queenz Eye is ready to show to the world. In Won Chae’s words, “We hope this album gives hope and courage to dreamers like us. This summer, we look forward to having both hot and cool moments with our fans.”
Seo Vin also looks forward to sharing their dynamic spirit with fans. “We want to show many different colors, like a rainbow. Each member has distinct charms and those diverse charms become harmonious under our shared love for music. We hope to share our unique energy on stage.” This synergy between each member’s unique persona and their unity as a team promises to give their performances an unmistakably Queenz Eye flair.

For Queenz Eye, this is only the beginning. As they step into their Season 2 era, Queenz Eye is ready to shake up the industry with fresh ideas and fearless ambition. Seo Vin describes the group’s vision clearly. “We aim to show a lot of different sides of ourselves, both musically and visually. Rather than following others, our goal is to do things that others will want to follow.” With their eyes focused on reinvention and originality, Queenz Eye is prepared to take risks and explore uncharted territories, whether it be in music, visual concepts or fashion photoshoots.
To the fans who have been looking forward to Queenz Eye’s new chapter, Kiirii sends her love and gratitude. “Thank you so much for waiting for our debut, I-Q. The fact that you’re waiting for us keeps us going, and we can’t wait to meet you. We will always try hard to show you our best sides. Come with us now, I-Q!”
